I have an HO scale layout here but it has been a while since I worked on
it. I need to get back to it. ;) I seem to lose traction whenever I get to something, like the artsy parts like making scene, that I am not as good at.

I'm afraid to ask what that is, and if it's NSFW?
That's why I like to consider myself a Runner Guy, just run the trains. I'll buy little farm animals from the toy section at the supermarket and am not a purist if it's "to Scale" My granddaughter loves them, and when we told her we
were leaving her the farm, she said 'Only if the trainset comes with it'.

I was given a basket case of N scale trains, none of the locos would
run, so waiting to buy a loco and will integrate into my O scale
layout. Usually they just need a good cleaning, but that didn't help
them.
Golf, a good walk spoiled. Im not that good either but there was a time when I worked at two country clubs and played golf on the team at Community College, I was around 40 when i started. A co-worker took me
to a par 3 course near us and I was hooked. he played the course with
only an 8 iron. he just carried around 1 club.
I like waatching the Cowboy Action Videos. I would love to get a model

Maybe not everyone *should* have guns? I took the comment as non-literal jest.

i feel more comfortable in a place where everyone has a gun instead of the wrong people having a gun.

I would *not* feel comfortable in a day care or a psychriactric hospital where *everyone* had a gun, but sure you would. :-)
you know someone could kill you with a household object quite easily and painfully as well. why are you uncomfortable about guns?

i worked in a foundry and i still have a good swing with a hammer. i could knock someone's block off before they knew it.
Also, if everyone in a particular place feels the need to have a gun, perhaps it's not a safe place to live in.
So if the issue is defense, if someone could do that/defend themselves with other household objects, why would everyone (or really, anyone) need a gun?

Because it's much *easier* to mame and kill with guns (intentionally or accidentally) than with other household objects.
